Welcome to the February 2010 edition of the highend-electronics Newsletter! We had a great exhibition in Las Vegas at T.H.E. Show 2010 January 7th-10th. This year for the first time in the famous Flamingo Hotel on the Strip. THE Show turned into a big success and, one is certain, will expand next year.

The promised reviews for the VALVET amplifiers are still not online. All in good time, there are 5 reviews in progress right now, two in the US, two in the UK and one in Germany and all of them will be published in the next weeks.
But what's already online is StereoTimes' Most Wanted Component Awards 2009. And guess what, the VALVET A3.5 mono blocks and the Valvet soulshine tube preamp won one of them.

PowerCell 10SE
The PowerCell 10SE (Special Edition), with 5 isolated circuits (5 duplex), sets itself apart from the PowerCell 6 and 10 via a higher performance Active EM filter and an additional Quantum Tunneling process. Synergistic Research ART Basik
ART Basik The "little brother" of the $3000 Acoustic ART room tuning system. The ART Basik consists of 1 large Satellite (instead of the Vibratron), 3 smaller Satellites for side and back walls and one Bass Station. The difference from the "big brother", the Acoustic ART system, is that the resonators are not Quantum Tunneling treated. They are also not varnished which gives them more of a silver color. For audiophiles who would like to experience the 3D soundstaging of the original Acoustic ART system, but at a more affordable price (retail $500.00). HiFi-Tuning SilverStar large
The large HiFi-Tuning SilverStar fuse 6.3x32mm (1.25") is finally ready. For now only the slow blow version is available. The price will be $59.95. Consensus Audio Magma
We received a brand new review from the reputable German publication Hoererlebnis written by Marco Kolks and titled "Absolutism From Austria". This review is for the Consensus Audio Magma loudspeakers and turned out to be a real rave review. The Magma ($32000) is between the entry model Lightning SE and the mid-line Conspiracy . We're currently working on the english translation. We'll have the first pair Magma's in the near future in our showroom. More on this review in our next newsletter.
