Welcome to the August 2014 edition of the highend-electronics Newsletter!
We had a very good exhibition at this year's Newport Beach show. It was Wall Audio's very first public appearance in North America and the German tube amps drove the Voxativ PI speakers with ease and authority. We had the renowned recording engineer Steve Hoffman as a guest in our room and he was very pleased. He wrote later in his blog: "...I loved, I mean LOVED the Voxativ stuff from Berlin..."
The Highend Show in Munich was even more successful. Voxativ was showcasing the new Ampeggio Due II with the new Alnico driver for the first time in Munich and was awarded the Best Sound of the Show Award. More and more European manufaturers and exhibitors are using HighEnd Novum products to optimize and improve their show-room acoustics. For instance Ayon Audio of Austria uses a PMR Premium in their showroom. Also this year in Munich, several exhibitors were spotted using the PMR. One system that stood out was the PS Audio room - Paul McGowan of PS Audio wrote in his blog: "...placed between your speakers, it stares back at you like some piece of Asian dinnerware or ornament. But holy cow, it works! Immediately, vocals get more lifelike, the sound sweeter and easier to listen to..."

Wall Audio M 50 PSET mono-bocks
Earlier this year Wall Audio from Germany also released new top-line mono-blocks. First introduced at the Breslavia audio show in June they are now available in North America.
The M 50 PSET are a paralell single ended, no feedback design. Each mono-block uses two of the wonderful sounding 6C33 power tubes and two NOS ECC82. The list of features is long such as auto-bias, tube overload protection, anti-magnetic casing, high voltage electronic Choke filter, "Super-Shunt" power supply, internal silver wiring, first class speaker transformer and more...
