Welcome to the July 2013 edition of the highend-electronics Newsletter! We are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at this year's California Audio Show at the Westin Hotel (Room 376) in San Francisco. This show will take place August 9-11th. At this show we will premier a few new products - the hand-made totaldac from France, the new KR Audio Kronzilla 680-series from Prague, a brand new turntable from the German company SoundWaves (KlangWellen Manufactur) with Voxativ's PI loudspeakers. Also in the system are products from High Fidelity Cables, Aurorasound, ViV Lab, VALVET, HighEnd Novum, Gregitek and more. More good news comes from Jonathan Valin of The Absolute Sound. He named Voxativ as "Best of Show" at the HighEnd Exhibition in Munich in May. We are also very proud to annonce that we received the "Gold Show Award for Best Sound" at T.H.E. Newport Beach Show last month. The other Best Sound awards went to Magico and YG Acoustics/Tenor. Peter Breuninger: "...the stand-out rooms featured loudspeakers from YG Acoustics, Magico, Wilson, Voxativ, Acoustic Zen and Quintessence... When a room produces excellent sound it's a combination of the equipment and the personnel. When a company or product wins continuous awards there is a reason..." Check it out |

|
We're glad to announce that we were chosen as US importer and distributor for SoundWaves Turntables (KlangWellen Manufaktur) from Berlin, Germany. Aiming for perfection in analog music reproduction, the company's goal is to design a turntable and tone arm that are able to reproduce music as close as possible to a live music experience. At the same time it should be easy to handle for its owner. After 8 years of development Oliver von Zedlitz, designer and owner of SoundWaves Turntables releases the Cantano series which is now available in the US. Check it out |
Essence of Music......is a highly effective two-step cleaning and polishing solution for digital disks like CD, SACD, DVD, BluRay... The sound improvement with Essence of Music is superior to any other cleaning and polishing solution on the market.A special formula, developed by Dr. Robert Spence over several years, is used for this two-spray solution, containing no abrasives, polishes or silicones. Essence of Music (Step I and Step II) improves the RI (Refractory Index) at the disk surface, removes and prevents static build-up, and addresses the causes of data-read errors to deliver more accurate data to the laser pick-up assembly so that less error correction is required. Essence of Music is made in Texas and contains two atomizer bottles (last for approx. 200-300 disks) and optical quality microfiber lens cloths. Price is $149.95 Check it out |

Aurorasound VIDA phono stage
|
This is already award number five for the exceptional VIDA since Oct/2012. Nick Tate of HiFi News (UK): "...this quintessentially Japanese slice of analogue exotica is artfully engineered to give a coruscatingly incisive and detailed sound, yet one that’s genuinely musical too. Impressively devoid of noise, it provides a wide-open window onto the vinyl groove yet it never sounds coldly forensic or overly romantic. The VIDA should win many friends here, as it already has in Japan..." Check it out Customer feedback: "...price is ridiculously low. Yes, without a doubt. This is a true 'high-end' phono-stage, at middle-of-the-road pricing. I genuinely doubt there is any worthwhile competition, even at twice the price of the Vida..." |

High Fidelity CT-1 Ultimate CablesWe think the CT-1 Ultimate are currently THE BEST CABLES regardless of price... and we're not alone with this opinion.Norm Luttbeg of StereoTimes.com 06/13: "...every cable with which I have compared them sounds less precise, more muted, and perhaps musical but not real. This includes cables that have surpassed many other cables. The king of the mountain thus far is the High Fidelity CT-1 Ultimate cables. Long live the king!" Check out the review Jack Roberts of Dagogo.com 05/13: "...the Ultimate was more extended in both frequency extremes. The Ultimate improved my system in all the ways we talk about in audiophile land. You know, like it has more information, bigger stage, more immediacy, and so forth; but that’s not nearly all they did. The sound with the Ultimate was so full of tone, timbre, and harmonics, singers sounded more like real beings, making it easy to hear the difference from one singer to another, even from one performance to another..."
