Early in February the "Norddeutsche HiFi-Tage" took place in Hamburg, Germany . This was a very special event because it marked the first public appearance of Voxativ's Ampeggio Due Art Edition with Gabriele Schlesselmann's "4-Dimensional Communication" paintings. | Reviews: | KR Audio VA880 Integrated AmpDr. John Richardson, StereoMojo (Feb 2013): "...what a lovely integrated amplifier ...it did space beautifully in the grandest tradition of tube amplification, but it was fast, tight, and somewhat angular, with a great ability to nail pace, rhythm, and timing. I thoroughly loved it... Those who value tone color, texture, imaging and musicality vs. the harder edged more academic presentation will like this alot... It is a highly effective combination of the best attributes of tubes and solid state, while avoiding the sonic pitfalls of each..."Check out the entire review
Phillip Holmes, Dagogo (Jan 2013):
"...The VA880 is an excellent product. It sounds good. It seems reliable. It seems to be decent value for the dollar. It has enough power for most speakers and rooms. It’s easy to use. It does a great job of balancing various and competing characteristics... can’t think of any particular circumstance where it might not work well, and plenty of reasons to recommend it. It’s rare that I don’t have to add multiple limiting qualifications for a product. If you have an open mind, put it on your list..."

The PMR Initium is brand new and already was honored with its first award - The Most Wanted Component Award 2012 from The StereoTimes. Clement Perry, of The StereoTimes wrote (Jan 2013): "...a 'mini-me' version to the bigger Novum resonator we all went gaga over. At roughly half the size of the standard PMR, the Initium serves as a perfect companion for placement around the room especially when space is an issue. Adds sparkle and dimensionality to an already excellent product..." Check it out |
WA-Quantum Power ChipWA-Quantum's Power Chip also received a Most Wanted Component 2012 Award.Norm Luttbeg wrote: "...I have had time to try this Power Chip only on the HB PowerSlave, but there it is miraculous. The sound with it has more punch, detail, sweetness, and is very musical. Never have I had this level of music reproduction... Like other WA-Quantum Chips, the Power Chip will stay in my system..." Check it out Other 2012 Award winners were Synergistic's PowerCell 10SE MkIII and Synergistic's Element Power Cable series. All products that we never leave the house without. |
