Welcome to the July 2012 edition of the highend-electronics Newsletter!
The first weekend in June we had a great show in Newport Beach at the Hilton Hotel. We were present with KR Audio in several rooms and ran our own room with the new Voxativ Ampeggio "Signature" speakers.
Ines Adler, designer and CEO of Voxativ, was on site and impressed our visitors with dazzling expert knowledge. It was her first visit to the USA and I can tell she likes California a lot!

We are looking forward to one of the next shows and a room large enough to let listeners expierience the unsurpassed sound of the Voxativ Ampeggio Due!
Earlier this year the Highend Massen in Stockholm took place. Many visitors told use that the Artos/VALVET room with Artos Sunrise Loudspeakers driven by VALVET A3.5MkII monos and the VALVET soulshine8 tube preamp was one of the best sounding rooms of the show.

Another great review was published in the Italian magazine ReMusic by Giuseppe Castelli. This time for the KR Audio VA350 integrated amplifier: "...the VA350 performs like a SET: immediacy, fluidity, sound integrity, plasticity and that sound mould of the best valve products which gives back the sound in a way that cannot be renounced if you know how to listen to it. When I say 'sound mould' I do not mean something gummy or stolidly palpable. Contrast Audio Black Moon
After the successful launch of Contrast Audio's Model One AS3 Reference we now bring to the US the larger model - the Black Moon.The Black Moon is a 3-way bass reflex floor-standing speaker system, with the port on the back panel. With 93dB and 8ohms they are equally suited for combination with single-ended triode, as well as transistor amplification.

KR Audio VA880
KR Audio's latest entry line model - the VA880 - is setup in our showroom and ready for listening (call for appointment).
The VA880 is a KT-88 based push-pull integrated amplifier. It's rated with 50 Watt per channel and very powerfull so it can drive a wide varity of speakers easily. The US retail price with $5,790.- is very affordable and a bargain for this beautiful sound and craftmanship. One unit is already on its way to a reviewer - stay tuned. check it out
