Valvet P2c & A3.5
|
A new review for Valvet's preamp with phono P2c and the A3.5 monoblocks by the UK magazine HiFi+ has been released end of October. Jason Kennedy wrote: "...the P2c is a well built preamplifier that offers an awful lot of sound quality for the money, you will be hard pressed to equal it sonically with a better looking product... the A3.5 is by contrast very nicely cased and extremely engaging with enough grip to keep you rocking in the context of a relaxed and revealing demeanour. And I thought I didn’t like the sound of silver!"

HighEnd Novum PMR PremiumHighEnd Novum from Germany received a brand new review from 6moons.com for the PMR and the MKT tuning devices - check it outThe PMR is a high-resonating system that overlays musical harmonics to the sound. This is achieved by a precisely tuned bronze alloy in a specific dimensions and specific design with various angles. Every PMR is cast from its own two-sand mold by hand with the exact temperature of about 1200°C and fine tuned after a controlled cooling off phase. Placed in the listening room, the music gets more momentum and energy, the presentation of the instruments is more realistic, more solid and three-dimensional. The spatial imaging is increased in all directions. The result is a natural and authentic sound experience with beautiful sounds. Highend Novum manufactures now the new PMR Premium. It has an extremly long cooling off phase which improves the crystalline structure of the bronze alloy and the disposition to resonate. And it comes with a bronze stand for vertical use. The price for the PMR Premium is $2150.00. |

| New products: | Audio Magic Blue Dot
|
Audio Magic's Blue Dot is the name for the new improved version of the Audio Magic Ground Disrupter (retail $700.00). It still is the only device on the market addressing noise riding the ground connections. The Blue Dot comes now with an RCA plug connected to it that needs to be plugged into one of the unused RCA inputs on your preamp. Dave Clark of PFO wrote about the older version: "...what I hear with the Ground Disruptor is even more resolution in the sense of dimensionality (ambiance, space, and such)... images also move further towards real-ness" - Read the entire review.
