Welcome to the hifideluxe 2008 report. This great event took place from April 24th-26th 2008 - parallel to the High End Show - at the beautiful Hotel Fleming's in Munich's Leopoldstrasse. For the first time, the tradeshow hifideluxe invited interested enthusiasts and inspired specialists to experience music performance on the highest level in relaxed surroundings. During the show, the international audiophile community enjoyed the chance to see, touch, and hear the newest gear. Attendees of this show were invited to see the creme de la creme of high-end hi-fi products and enjoy many exciting listening experiences. Even though the show included some of the most innovative manufacturers in the industry such as Acapella, Capriccio Continuo, Einstein Audio, Isenberg Audio, Jan Allaerts, Jorma, Klimo, Lavardin, Luxman, Marten, NuForce, Odeon, Roeder, Simon Yorke, Consensus Audio Engineering was one of the most talked about presenters. |

Consensus Audio amp 211

This event marked the international debut of the brand new beautiful integrated single ended triode amplifier amp 211. Developed, designed and handmade especially for Consensus loudspeakers by the German tube guru Rainer Roeder. Finest Dural aluminum as used in aircraft construction encloses the hand selected combination of outstanding parts. Two 211 tubes deliver 2 times 15 finest watt and sounding just heavenly - spacious, lively, rich and detailed - especially in combination with Consensus loudspeakers. |

Conspiracy Loudspeakers

Guests at the Consensus suite experienced the music with the award-winning Conspiracy loudspeakers, driven by the 15 watt integrated single ended triode amplifier amp 211. As front end an Oracle CD-2000 transport and a 47labs DAC was used. The CMFC cables - Consensus Magnetic Field Correction - made its international debut as speaker cables for the system. Handmade by Consensus, designed and developed in cooperation with the Technical University Vienna. Needless to say, with this system Consensus was one of the best sounding systems of both shows. |

Statement LoudspeakersAnother international debut at the show was Consensus newest top-of-the-line, cost-no-object Statement loudspeaker (shown to the right). With its 6 feet height a very impressive appearance that is able to deliver superior sound even in the largest rooms. Experts agree this may well be one of the best speakers of all times. As all Consensus loudspeakers, the Statement is designed to reproduce in an extremely natural, dynamic and realistic way, offering impressive soundstage, basscontrol and timecoherence to set landmarks in audio reproduction. Stefan Fekete, mastermind and chief engineer, formerly the genius behind Lumen White loudspeakers, brought innovative technologies such as airflow damping to perfection. We are looking forward to the next show and a room large enough to let listeners expierience the unsurpassed sound of the statement. |
